About this deal

More than 150 artworks are included to provide the reader with all of the information they need to solve the puzzles. This experience has been fantastic primarily for the children, the school and also for me (professionally).

Yesterday a parent came over to tell me how impressed she was by the book fair and that you did a fabulous job of selling the books to the children first. Today we will not only come across books with gripping stories, telling about the adventures that daredevils have been waiting for, but also those that give us access to knowledge about game construction including rules for Escape Room. Nevertheless it didn’t stop him reading on and he is keen to read other books from Christopher Edge.

Even if I somehow managed to survive the first room, the library (of all places) would have taken me out. His name is Oscar, and Ami is rapidly aware he isn’t interested in working together – preferring to ransack, smash and bully his way through anything facing them. Also there was a little bit of information that didn’t necessarily move the story forward and was left stagnant and never addressed again. I decided to read this book because it sounded like a taut psychological thriller and it had so many stellar reviews. Your selection was perfect for our children and what really made the difference was your ability to engage with each child, discuss their interests and help them to choose a suitable book based on your extensive knowledge of the books you were selling.

it’s four competitive people with big ambitions, shaky moral compasses, career-ending secrets and a lot to lose, trapped in an elevator, with a gun. Lured to a building under construction and into the elevator to the 70th floor to take part in a team building exercise, these four self absorbed bankers have no clue what is about to happen. The story is told from two perspectives and works really well as the reader is kept entertained throughout. This novel is exactly what you want in a thriller - fantastic characters, intertwining storylines that tie together nicely and crazy suspense. She observes the detail of daily life but also lets her imagination roam free and, at times, draws the reader into an alternative universe. Become Adam Parkinson, a young investigative journalist, and join his conspiracy-theorist friend Henry Fielding as they take on the diabolical Wexell Corporation. Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to review an advanced copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. It’s a fantastic independent book seller that will actually be responsive and select appropriate books for you.

Then they must command a spaceship heading to Mars… The thrills never cease and the peril seems endless. I didn't need anything complicated nor grounded; I simply wanted a thrilling read that would keep me turning the pages all night long.It was good for the target audience and I enjoyed all the different locations and the historical / cultural information. Escape Room is a contemporary Betjemanesque exploration of suburban, middle-class life, with all its apathy and subconscious fear. I'm about half way through it at the moment and the going is getting trickier - but there's such a sense of satisfaction when you work out individual elements and then see how they go together. At the beginning we thought they didn’t deserve to be locked up and there might be some way to rescue them.
